FTTH Round Cable Double Sheath for Outdoor/Indoor Use 4.6mm
Description
When entering a building, the outer sheath of the cable is simply removed to expose the inner flame retardant Jacket. The operation is swift and enables easy installation from an outdoor environment to an indoor environment without the need of two different cables and a cable joint.
The drop cable is primarily intended for direct installation, i.e. installation with staples or clips or routing inside cable raceways and mouldings. This installation technique puts extra tough requirements on the cables in terms of bend performance, crush resistance and other mechanical pa- rameters.
The LSZH Dual Jacket Cable is a fibre optic drop cable for indoor/outdoor FTTx applications. The unique dual jacket design enables the cable to be installed outdoors as well as short sections indoors. The cable has dual Low Smoke flame retardant sheaths, the outer is a UV-resistant black variant.
The drop cable has extremely good bend performance due to the G657 fibre and the inbuilt bend restriction of the cable design. The cable will by itself control the minimum bend radius and permit kinking.
